The grapes for our Pinot Noir juice are destemmed, pressed and the juice chilled down to about 32°F to prevent fermentation. Pinot Noir juice is lighter in color than the wine as the grapes have to be pressed within 24 hours after harvest to avoid any fermentation. After pressing, we cold-filter the juice rather than heating it, retaining all the fresh-fruit flavors. The fresh, juicy flavors are similar to the wine suggesting plum, strawberry and rhubarb. Pinot Noir juice can be drunk straight, with ice or with sparkling water. It is bottled in a traditional wine bottle with a cork finish, so you can use a wine cork screw to open the bottle with a flourish. Refrigerate after opening; juice typically remains delicious for several weeks.
