Good news! After over two years of offering only outdoor tasting, Navarro has opened the tasting room again for indoor service. As of the end of September 2022, Mendocino County is listed by the CDC as having a low rate of community risk for Covid. That means that our friendly, knowledgeable staff will again offer indoor counter service, especially welcome as the weather gets chilly. There are two indoor counters and, if you still wish to sample outside, there is a third fully stocked tasting room counter in the garden during the warmer months.
No reservations are required and unlike most wineries, Navarro continues to let our tasting room friends sample a wide selection of medal winning wines at NO CHARGE. Perhaps this old school approach is why wine writer Dan Berger recently rated Navarro as “The Best Tasting Room in California.” Tables on our covered deck and in our gardens will continue to be available for picnics, but now on a first come first serve basis. You are welcome to peruse our deli case offerings, pick up a yummy smorgasbord box or selection of cheeses produced by Pennyroyal Farm, our sister farm in Boonville. The staff can help you purchase a full or half size bottle to accompany your snack in the garden.
We are excited to again be offering vineyard and winery tours at 10:30am daily. The tours provide a front row seat to how a small family-run winery and vineyard operates throughout the seasons. Please wear sturdy walking shoes, comfortable clothing and a hat. You can make a tour reservation on Tock or phone us a 707 895-3686, 1-800-537-9463 or send us an email at sales@navarrowine.com. Reservations are subject to availability and weather conditions.
